Hammock Accessories

A carabiner is an essential tool for any backpacker, climber or adventurer. When used with your Trek Light Hammock you can sleep well knowing that you're securely clipped in to your surroundings and supported by the strongest means possible. But these are not just a hammock accessory by any means, our carabiners have an endless number of uses on the trail or around the home. Carabiners are everywhere on the market today, so what makes a Trek Light Carabiner so special? Trek Light Carabiners weigh in at less than an ounce (.8oz) and hold up to 1100lbs (500kg)!! We encourage you to do the research - nearly every carabiner on the market either supports less weight, weighs more, or costs much more. Upgrade your hammock with a pair of these carabiners or buy some just to have with you when you'll need it most. It may feel right at home on your keychain, but this is no trinket - rest assured you're purchasing one of the lightest and strongest carabiners on the market today.

Open Question: Would Mighty Putty be able to hold up a person?

Okay so my roommate and I want to hang up a hammock but we don't have anything to hang it from and we can't drill the walls. We figure that with mighty putty you might be able to use some glue gone or something to take it off (we'll cross that bridge when we come to it). So would Mighty Putty be able to hold the weight of a person in a hammock?

Open Question: Do you think my rats cage looks fun? :\?

I have two rats in this cage, but I'm worried they're bored. I just changed it around last week but I'm still not satisfied. I found an extra level at a yard sale for this cage, so I bought it and made a whole new floor. I would like to add more hamocks and hidebox's and stuff when I get the money, but it's hard in this cage since the only wire is the cage bars because the levels are plastic, therefore i can't hang hammocks under them :\ I also need a litter box but I just feel like i have no room. UGH. This cage - according to the cage caculator - can fit 4-5 female rats. But idk. I wanna buy the CN when I get the money, which will be a while.. LOL. But honestly - does this cage look fun for rats? Any suggestions or ideas on what I can to to make it more fun? (I'm ocd, and so everything has to look neat in there or it drives me CRAZY!) http://tinypic.com/r/bh6xe/5

Resolved Question: HELP! Urgent ferret issue!?

Around 6 days ago now, Isis' buddy Cookie died of an intestinal tumor. We've been talking to an expert on All Experts.com who had a dying situation as well. She said it was much less stress for her to get a buddy sooner. So, we waited 5 days until we all felt better... We got a little guy, about 2 and a half months old. It went wonderful - she started, nor he started no fights at all, and the cage territory isn't being marked as only ones area. Isis was before eating, drinking, playing, and sleeping fine, along with *going*. But I'm upset because she's slept almost the entire time since the baby came... almost the entire time. I know ferrets sleep a lot, although I just lost a ferret - I know for a fact I AM going to be horribly paranoid. I have 31 kids (all different types of course) in total, but I care about each and every one. Anyhow, the baby currently has his own bowl of "mush", (Marshall ferret food moistened) his own bed area downstairs, 2 litter pans, (they fought for corners before), and the only thing they should be sharing is the water bottle downstairs. Isis has her kitten chow food, dry, and the big hammock. She would need to go downstairs for the water and to *go*. Anyway, my final question. (Sorry for the rambling, I like to give EXTRA detail.) Is all the sleeping Isis is doing NORMAL? She was very attached to Cookie, although she's taken everything quite well. Someone that has had this type of experience would be best for this question. I don't really want someone who has never even owned ferrets or had them pass away before answer this. Thank you.

Resolved Question: WDYT of a ferret nesting box?

I was just thinking it might be a good idea to have a nest box in my cage along with the hammock because when my room gets warm, which it can, my ferret sleeps in her litter box which is gross and then she needs a bath which is kind of annoying because then my roomates kids want to play with her and they don't really get 'play nice' theyre too young, anyway i was wondering if anyone else has tried this? Do you think she will actually use it? Basically opinions on it? i was thinking maybe something like this http://www.chinworld.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/BathHouse.jpg
