Open Question: Am I a good writer or not?

I write fanfictions on fanfiction.net, my user name is KP100 on there. And here is the 1st chapter of my latest story, tell me if I'm a good writer or not please! And POV is point of view, AN is Author's Note. AN AT THE END! A Halfa is Born: THE ACCIDENT Danny's POV It was my birthday, April 3 2004. I was turning 14 that day, when THE ACCIDENT happened. My parents had just finished building their ghost portal, that Jazz and I thought wouldn't work. Sam and Tucker came over for a video game show-down that we'd scheduled as a birthday party. We where just getting to the middle of Race to Armageddon when my parents walked upstairs with a gloomy look on their faces. I paused the game and asked them what' wrong. "Danny, the portal isn't working." Mom replied. They headed upstairs to sulk. When we heard the door shut, Sam got up and looked me in the eye. "Common birthday boy." She said as she walked down stairs toward the lab. "SAM! I'm not supposed to have anyone down here without my parents!" I yelled running after her as Tucker followed. When I got down there Sam was standing in front of the portal. "Danny, you should try to fix it. I mean, if you do, maybe your parents will be so over joyed that they'll forget we're down here, and they'll reward you by leaving you out of their ghost obsession!" I looked at the portal, and back at Sam. "What would I wear, I mean I highly doubt the clothes I have on now will withstand it." She tossed something at me, and I fumbled to catch it. I unfolded it, to find it was a jumpsuit with my dad's face on it. "Urgh, fine." I said pulling it on over my clothes and zipping it up. I was about to step inside when Sam slapped her hand on my chest. "What?" I asked her. She smiled and pointed at my chest, I looked down. Seeing my dad's face on my chest, I frowned and peeled it off. I stepped into the portal, and started feeling along the walls, looking around. I must have pressed something because the end of it started lighting up. I turned and tried to run out of it, but the light caught me. It was really pain full, and all I remember is screaming a lot. Then I blacked out. Next thing I know, I'm on the tiled floor of the lab, and the portal was glowing green. I stood up, and looked around. Everything seemed fine, until they started growing. I looked down to find I was sinking through the floor! I yelped and Sam ran over, grabbed my arms and yanked me out of the ground. She pointed to a mirror that was hanging on the wall. I ran over to it and looked inside. I had snow white hair, and glowing green eyes! Also my suit had changed. It was black where it used to be white, and vise versa. Suddenly I heard my dad's voice behind me yell out, "GHOST!" along with the hum of an ecto weapon starting to warm up. I turned around and saw my parents aiming the anti-ghost weapons at me. "WAIT! It's me! Danny!" I yelled. They didn't falter, but they didn't shoot either. "Prove it." They said coldly. Right, how would I prove it? I closed my eyes and thought of being human. I suddenly felt a rush of energy pass over me. I opened my eyes to see I was human again. My parent's eyes where as big as dinner plates as the put down the weapons. "Danny?" they said at the same time. AND THAT'S IT! I hope you liked it! I'm thinking it'll be a one-shot, but if the readers (YOU PEOPLE!) think I should add more chapters, please tell me in the form of a review! Thanks! And I think this is the most I've ever written, 707 words! And I'm currently writing 7 stories at once. I've done 2 stories where it takes place after Phantom Planet and yes this is Danny Phantom, it fuels my obseesion of him to write about his adventures and such. AND this was a challenge that I took. I didn't come up with the first episode from Danny's POV thing. This was the challenge: CHALLENGE! YAY! I remember the time when this happened to me. It was the time…when Vlad came back. It all started the day after the Disasteroid. I was doing the normal ghost patrol, people down below who saw me yelled up a "Hi!" or an occasional "Go Danny!" I was about to give up when I heard someone yell "Hey Fenton!" I looked down to see Dash. 'Great, this probably isn't good.' I thought to myself. "Hey Dash, whats up?" I landed lightly in front of Dash. "Thanks for saving us. You're okay." This took me by surprize. Normally I'd be on my way to a dumpster by now. "Uh, your welcome. I kinda had to considering I lived here as well. And wow, thanks." I smiled at him. He did something I wasn't suspecting then, he gave me a friendly hug. Uh Dash, have you been taken over by ghosts or something?" I asked. "No, I just realised how wrong I was about you." with that he walked away. I shrugged and flew around some more. I spotted Paulina and waved. She waved back, and yelled, "Danny! Are you out ghost patroling?" I stopped and nodded. "Well I saw that wierd box obsessed ghost at the nail solon just a few minutes ago." I thanked her and headed that way. I didn't even know we had a nail solon.

We have a chance to really make a difference. We have health care for all, a growing green economy, a start on stopping global warming, and wars that are ending. But instead of rejoicing, people are bashing Obama because he is black. People need to get excited about voting again. Do you remember GW Bush???? Do you remember what it felt like when the energy companies ran things. The people had no power. When Pelosi and Reid took the reigns in 2006, they started making meaningful changes. That same spirit could happen again. But you have to get the vote out. WELL SAID MR TEABAGGER!!!

Open Question: I'm white and my guy and his family are hispanic...sick of the expectations?

Ok, so I love my guy and his family..but they are from South America..he came here when he was small so he's americanized. His Mom is a Dentist and Dad...well..love the dude, but he's lazy. They like to party..and like most hispanic people are EXTREMELY social. Nothing can really be a single family outing..they always have to make it big...and there's always an excuse for having tons of friends/beer. His Mom has this idea that God gave women the power to WORK, COOK, CLEAN, and take care of the family and husband. My guy and I live RIGHT next door to them, because we rent from them. It's VERY affordable, and we pay probably $400 less/month than the average apt. around here. It sort of comes with a price..bc they ALWAYS need something and he is the oldest so they put a lot of sh*t on his shoulders..but I'm sure they love him. Anyway..he went back to an AWESOME university full time. I am also finishing Nursing school full-time online..and did it that way so I can stay home, take care of errands, and work online. We have a small business...barely gets us by. It may not sound like much..but I live in a metro city and everything takes twice as long to take care of bc you walk/take bus everywhere. So at the end of the day..I find myself with little energy..and barely enough time to myself to study. My guy is great..but I have noticed, as our relationship has gone on..he expects to be fed all the time..and now that HE is in school full time..the weight of chores, cleaning, cooking are on me..even though he says he will help. It's like his parents and him think I'm some sit at home wife and have nothing else to do and I have no idea how I got him so spoiled. Suggestions? Sick of his mom's stupid sly comments about cooking, cleaning, working. I'm not a lazy person and have lots of energy to do all of that..but I also feel like pressured to do it all and they are SO old school. It makes me sick that his Mom thinks like that..but I don't wanna badmouth her. However, I'm overwhelmed...trying to understand their culture and why they think white people are SOOOO lazy and useless. Any advice? How can I ease him out of this expectation? I got nasty one day and said "Look, I'm not looking for my green card, so we can both pull equal loads around here or you can find an illegal immigrant that's willing to slave herself for you...I'm also not you're MOTHER". They aren't mexican. They are from South America.

I've been with this sweat lovely lady almost three months long. We get along great and have fun, but recently I've become unsettled, and interested in a few people around me. I am 27 years old (she is 25 yrs old) and lives in a big city, which I’m still young and I don’t know should keep looking and/or dating around because I don’t want to be trap or settle down yet. I think I do love her (she does love me), but something in me says that I should have dated around. I now feel in too deep, which it almost like I missed out on something else. I am feeling like I need to make a decision on whether to continue to invest time and energy or to set my sights on something (someone else). I don’t know this will help me refine those feelings. I'm now getting to the stage where I'm becoming worried about what I SHOULD do, ie do I stay with her and put my interest in others down to the grass being greener on the other side, or should I make a break? Here's the pro/con list: PRO: • Kindest, most gentle, thoughtful, supportive loving man I have ever met or been in a relationship with • Shares my religious convictions and faith and actively practices with me • Supports everything I do, is interested and active in my hobbies • Trustworthy • From a good family whom I like and enjoy spending time with • Treats me like a human • Kind to others, gets along with my family and friends very well • Very attractive • Fun most of the time although a little quieter than I am so sometimes I feel she is holding something back • Smart • Never been married • Has no children • She loves children and animals • Don’t argued as much • Willing try some of new things • Fit nicely when laying together • Independent • Practices good hygiene • Partakes in some of my interests • Good listener • She makes me feel comforted and tells me I'm great! • She loves me! • She gives me little surprise presents which made me excited • Has a good sex drive • Has a job CON: • She is not as active as I am • She is not an outdoor person • Does not do all same sports or outdoor activities together like as group exercise, broom ball, rock climbing, snowboarding, etc • Sleep in a lot on Saturday mornings rather than to do a group exercise together • She is over weight (I’m more as an athletic shape and very active) • Has less drive and motivation than I do which can come off as laziness or complacency although I know she does work hard and take pride in doing a good job at her job • Some health issues – affect with back problems, outdoor, allergies, etc. • Hates hot or cold weather • Bad habit to finish the drinks or pick up the trash • Tough to wake up- she presses the sleep mode button too many of times (up to 30 minutes long) • She is very tall (6ft tall, I’m 6’2”) • Has a major credit card debt
